All the best for 2008 - Greeting from James Morley
Hi Jacky,
We wanted to wish you a happy New Year and all the best for 2008! I hope you will have many happy moment in your new homes!!
Yes, I recently had a look at your website and was very impressed with the development of your properties. (How did you have the time to keep up your website at the same time??)
Hello You !
The property in MeiNung is very special. The change from the original property all overgrown with trees and bushes to the finished product was a real transformation! You placed a great deal of attention on making it a real "secret garden" with the pond, arrangement of shrubs, the grand entrance gate, lighting, the drainage canal by the roadside. Very impressive. I liked the most recent shots which showed the trees growing back, the grass, the fauna, and of course the TNT gang. I recognized Vincent, Lucy, Jack, and Alex etc. Everyone looked very relaxed and enjoying themselves. You are very lucky to have a place where you can go and forget about everything and truly relax.

We have a similar goal to have a place that we can go to find solitude. There are some islands close by and one day we hope that we can buy a property and design it just like you. I imagine it was your dream to have a property like the one in MeiNung and it is inspirational to watch your dream become reality.
And your second home in the city. I am not sure where that is but I am guessing Gaosheng or a suburb of Gaosheng. It came together very quickly. I know you have had a lot of experience in remodeling and renovating apartments so this project probably came together easily for you.
My question is do you do the majority of the work yourself ie. painting, light and bathroom fixture instillations, or do you get contractors for these projects??
When I Was Small, Christmas Trees Were Tall
The reason I ask is in June we have managed to buy our condo here in Victoria. It is about 750 sq feet (we still measure things here in feet despite being a country that is supposed to use the metric system) or roughly 22 pings. Not big but 2 bedrooms. I have doing some renovations in our room and the baby's room. I put down a wood floor and painted. It was a lot of work, especially since I have never undertaken a project like that. But I was happy with the end result. I don't have any pictures of my work, but I will take some when we have put up the final decorations. I am thinking of renovating the bathroom in the spring.
Little Monkey
We are both doing well. Katharine grows like a weed! She is now 8 months and 23lbs. She is like a little octopus and wants to grab everything. She will soon be crawling.
Christmas was a busy time as we were back and fourth between both sets of grandparents. They really spoiled her. She is turning into a little princess with all the attention from the grandparents. We are going to have to institute a 2 gift maximum for the grandparents next year to keep things under control.
I am running still. In the first week of Dec I did a 10mile cross country run. It was over a (small) mountain, through streams, over logs. Lots of fun. Check out the link to see me at the finish.

Please find a few recent pictures of us and Katharine. The picture titled "When I Was Small, Christmas Trees Were Tall" is inspired by you. Laurie and I remember when you sung that song (very beautifully) when you were living in Neihu. That memory has stayed with me all these years.
We hope that this email finds you well. We wish you another big year, but I am not sure what you are going to do to top 2007! We will continue to watch your progress with your real estate purchases on your website.
Hugs,
James, Laurie & Katharine
